Next review: September 1, 2026, or sooner if Purdia changes a cited plan, price, rule, or funding stage
The practical answer: choose a Purdia Evaluation when you want the lower upfront payment, can tolerate monthly billing, and value the ability to reset. Choose Instant Funding when you can justify the higher one-time cost and want to skip the Evaluation stage—but can trade immediately under Sim Funded rules with no reset.
Instant Funding does not mean immediate payouts or immediate live capital. Purdia's current funding map starts an Instant buyer in a Sim Funded Account. An Evaluation buyer must first pass the Evaluation, pay the activation fee, and then enter that same broad simulated-funded progression. Both paths can later move through a payout-eligible Temp Sim stage and brokerage onboarding toward a Live Funded Account.
The decision in one table
| Decision point | Purdia Evaluation | Purdia Instant Funding |
|---|---|---|
| Starting stage | Simulated Evaluation | Sim Funded Account |
| Payment structure | Monthly until passed or canceled | One-time purchase |
| Current online sizes | Pro: 100K; EOD: 50K and 100K | EOD Instant: 25K, 50K, and 100K |
| Reset option | $99 during Evaluation | No resets |
| Activation after entry stage | $130 after passing; current rendered August offer shows $1 | No activation fee |
| Drawdown choice | Pro uses intraday trailing; EOD uses end-of-day trailing | Current purchasable Instant cards use end-of-day trailing |
| Minimum days shown at entry | 5 Evaluation days | 10 Sim Funded days |
| First payout access | Not during Evaluation or Sim Funded | Not during Sim Funded |
| Best fit | Lower upfront cost and recoverable Evaluation attempts | Experienced trader prioritizing direct Sim Funded entry |
The phrase “funded” needs stage context. Purdia labels the Instant starting balance as simulated capital and says payouts begin only after the Sim Funded stage is completed. That distinction matters more than the product name.
What the current Purdia storefront actually sells
Purdia's rendered programs page showed six purchasable account cards on August 9:
| Current card | Billing | Current displayed price | Profit target | Drawdown | Other entry rule |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100K Pro Evaluation | Monthly | $199 list; $49 first month | $6,000 | $3,000 intraday trailing | 5 days; 10 minis / 100 micros |
| 50K EOD Evaluation | Monthly | $179 list; $79 first month | $3,000 | $2,000 EOD | $1,000 soft daily loss limit; 5 days |
| 100K EOD Evaluation | Monthly | $299 list; $129 first month | $6,000 | $3,000 EOD | $2,000 soft daily loss limit; 5 days |
| 25K Instant Funded | One-time | $349 list | $1,000 | $750 EOD | 10 days; 2 minis / 20 micros |
| 50K Instant Funded | One-time | $549 list | $2,000 | $1,500 EOD | 10 days; 5 minis / 50 micros |
| 100K Instant Funded | One-time | $849 list | $3,000 | $3,000 EOD | 10 days; 10 minis / 100 micros |
The three Evaluation cards also displayed a post-pass activation fee reduced from $130 to $1 as an August promotion. The displayed evaluation discounts are first-month prices, not permanent subscription rates. Purdia did not publish an end date on the reviewed cards, so treat every promotional figure as checkout-sensitive.
Purdia's knowledgebase also documents Beginner Evaluation and Static Instant structures in the present tense. They did not appear among the six purchasable cards on the current programs page. This comparison therefore treats them as documented but not currently available through the reviewed online purchase flow; it does not infer that they were permanently retired.
Choose Evaluation for lower upfront cost and reset flexibility
Purdia describes an Evaluation as a structured, lower-cost entry point. The account renews monthly until the trader passes or cancels. A trader can buy a $99 reset during the Evaluation, and a successful pass triggers the activation fee before the Sim Funded Account is issued.
That structure fits someone who wants to limit the initial cash commitment and prefers an explicit qualification stage. It is less attractive when several monthly renewals and resets are likely, because the total paid can move closer to—or beyond—the one-time Instant price.
The Evaluation choice then splits again:
- Pro Evaluation is the low-price 100K path. It uses a $3,000 intraday trailing drawdown. The threshold can follow unrealized account highs, so open-profit retracement matters.
- EOD Evaluation is available at 50K and 100K. Its trailing threshold updates from end-of-day highs. It also publishes a soft daily loss limit: hitting it pauses trading for the session rather than failing the account.
Both current Evaluation types require at least five trading days. Passing the Evaluation does not create payout eligibility. It moves the trader into the Sim Funded stage.
Choose Instant when skipping Evaluation is worth the higher commitment
Purdia Instant Funding replaces the monthly Evaluation with a one-time payment and begins directly in a Sim Funded Account. There is no activation fee and no reset option.
That can fit an experienced trader who already understands Purdia's funded-stage risk controls and would rather pay once than manage an Evaluation subscription. It is a poor fit for someone who relies on retries: an Instant breach cannot be recovered with a reset, so a new account purchase would be the practical restart.
The current purchasable Instant cards are 25K, 50K, and 100K. All three use EOD trailing drawdown in the Sim Funded stage. Their list prices rise from $349 to $849, while the published profit targets and drawdowns also scale by size.
Skipping Evaluation saves one stage, not all qualification. Purdia's first-party payout path says the Sim Funded stage requires at least 10 trading days, five profitable days of $200 or more, and the applicable balance or profit target before the account becomes payout-qualified. The public illustration uses a 50K example, so traders should confirm the exact target and dashboard counters for the purchased size.
The shared path after the entry decision
The two products differ most before Sim Funded:
- Evaluation: Evaluation → Sim Funded → Temp Sim → Live.
- Instant Funding: Sim Funded → Temp Sim → Live.
Purdia says Evaluation Accounts and Sim Funded Accounts are not payout-eligible. After completing Sim Funded, a trader can move to either a Temporary Sim Funded Account during brokerage onboarding or a Live Funded Account. The temporary stage can be payout-eligible while live onboarding is pending.
The final Live Funded Account is a real brokerage account, subject to identity verification, compliance review, and broker approval. Qualification does not override that approval process. Purdia's terms reserve discretion over funding and account services, so buyers should not treat a future live account as automatic merely because they purchased Instant Funding.
A simple cost test before choosing
Compare the expected evaluation path, not just the first payment displayed on August 9, 2026.
For the 100K Pro Evaluation, one discounted first month plus the current $1 activation would total $50 if the trader passed before renewal and the August offer remained valid through checkout. A second full-price month would raise that illustrative total to $249 before any reset. One $99 reset would raise it again to $348.
The 100K Instant card lists at $849 one-time. It costs materially more up front, but it removes the Evaluation subscription, reset, and activation stages. It does not remove the Sim Funded qualification path or the risk of losing the account without a reset.
Do the same arithmetic for the exact size and likely timeline:
expected Evaluation cost = first payment + renewals + resets + activation
Instant cost = one-time checkout price
Promotional prices can change. The comparison should still work after they do because the structural decision is monthly-with-resets versus one-time-without-resets.
Who should avoid each path
Avoid the Evaluation path when monthly billing pressure is likely to distort your trading, when the intraday or EOD qualification target does not fit your strategy, or when your realistic pass timeline makes renewals and resets more expensive than the alternative.
Avoid Instant Funding when the one-time fee would stretch your risk budget, when you have not practiced the funded-stage rules, or when the absence of resets would make one mistake too expensive. Also avoid it if “Instant” is being interpreted as immediate withdrawal access; that is not Purdia's published progression.
The bottom line
Purdia Evaluation is the more flexible entry path: lower initial pricing, monthly billing, and $99 resets, followed by activation and Sim Funded. Pro offers the stricter intraday-trailing 100K route; EOD Evaluation offers 50K and 100K paths with end-of-day trailing drawdown and a soft daily loss limit.
Purdia Instant Funding is the more direct entry path: a higher one-time payment, no Evaluation, no activation fee, and no resets. It starts at Sim Funded—not payout-ready Temp Sim and not a Live Funded Account.
Choose based on total expected cost and the first stage you are ready to trade. Then verify the exact card, checkout total, drawdown model, and dashboard qualification counters before paying.
