FundedNext Forex is the CFD side of FundedNext, the same firm behind our FundedNext Futures listing. It sells three purchasable model families — Stellar 2-Step, Stellar 1-Step and Stellar Instant — plus a cheaper Stellar Lite variant, across forex, indices, commodities and crypto CFDs on MT4, MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader. None of the models carries a consistency rule or a time limit, drawdowns are static on the challenge accounts, and the firm reports paying 99.99% of rewards within 24 hours.
Stellar 2-Step: Stellar 2-Step is FundedNext’s flagship CFD challenge and the only model that returns your fee on the FIRST reward rather than the third. You clear an 8% target in phase one and 5% in phase two, with five trading days minimum in each and no time limit at all, inside a 5% daily loss limit and a 10% static maximum loss measured from your starting balance ("your account must not drop below 90% of its initial balance"). Leverage is the most generous in the range at 1:100 on forex. Once funded there is no target and no consistency rule: the first reward lands 21 days in, then every 14 days, paid on a base 80% share that rises to 90% through Scale-Up and to 95% with the Lifetime Reward add-on — plus 15% of your challenge profit targets paid out at your first Scale-Up. Through ComparePropFirms the code CPF takes 7% off the purchase and upgrades the refundable fee to 120%.
Stellar 1-Step: Stellar 1-Step compresses the whole evaluation into a single 10% target you can clear in as few as two trading days, with no time limit. The trade-off for that speed is tighter risk — a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% static maximum loss ("your account must not drop below 94% of its initial balance") — and lower leverage at 1:30 on forex. What you get back is the fastest reward cycle FundedNext runs anywhere: your first payout comes after five business days and then every five business days after that, on an 80% base share rising to 90% via Scale-Up and 95% with the add-on. The refundable fee arrives with your third reward rather than your first. Through ComparePropFirms the code CPF takes 7% off and upgrades that refund to 120%.
Stellar Instant: Stellar Instant skips the challenge entirely: you are funded from day one with no profit target, no daily loss limit, no minimum trading days, no time limit and no consistency rule. Everything hangs on a single constraint — a 6% TRAILING maximum loss limit that "starts from your initial balance and moves up only when you make profits, never exceeding your starting balance," and which does not reset after you take a reward. Withdrawals are on demand once the account is up 5% at an end-of-day check, or bi-weekly. The reward share starts lower than the challenge models at 70% and rises to 80% from tier three, and this is the one model with NO refundable fee — so our 7% CPF discount is the whole saving here. Sizes run $2K to $20K, they cannot be merged, and the account scales to 10× and potentially $2,000,000.
The headline reason to look at FundedNext CFDs is optionality without penalty clauses. There is no time limit on any of the four models and no consistency rule anywhere in the lineup — the only consistency requirement is a 40% best-day rule you opt into if you buy the On-Demand Rewards add-on. Weekend and overnight holding are allowed at every stage, and martingale is explicitly permitted. That combination is rare: most firms that price this aggressively claw it back with a consistency rule or a hard deadline.
Where the models differ is speed versus safety. Stellar 1-Step compresses everything into one 10% target you can clear in two trading days and then pays every five business days — the fastest reward cycle FundedNext runs — but it holds you to a 3% daily loss limit and 1:30 forex leverage. Stellar 2-Step is the opposite trade: easier risk parameters at 5% daily and 10% total with 1:100 leverage, a slower 21-then-14-day reward cycle, and the only refundable fee that lands on your FIRST reward instead of your third. Stellar Instant skips the challenge altogether for a single 6% trailing loss limit, but it starts at a 70% share and carries no fee refund at all.

What CFD accounts does FundedNext sell?
Four: Stellar 2-Step (8% then 5%), Stellar 1-Step (10% in one phase), Stellar Lite (a cheaper 8%/4% two-phase account from $32.99) and Stellar Instant (funded from day one, no challenge). The older Evaluation and Express models were closed to new customers on 18 March 2025.
How much does it cost?
Global list prices start at $59.99 for a $6K Stellar 2-Step, $65.99 for a $6K 1-Step, $32.99 for a $5K Lite and $59.99 for a $2K Instant. Through ComparePropFirms the code CPF takes 7% off any purchase. US pricing is lower on the challenge models — FundedNext serves a separate US price list and geo-redirects US visitors.
Do I get my fee back?
Yes on every model except Stellar Instant, which has no refundable fee. FundedNext’s published terms return 100% of the challenge fee — with your 1st reward on 2-Step and your 3rd reward on 1-Step and Lite — and it must be requested manually at withdrawal. Our partner rate uplifts that refund to 120%. If you reset, the refund matches the most recent reset fee rather than the original.
Is there a consistency rule?
No — none of the four live CFD models publishes one, and FundedNext states plainly that "there are no consistency rules in the Stellar Instant Account". The single exception is opt-in: buying the On-Demand Rewards add-on raises your share to 95% from the first reward but imposes a 40% best-day consistency rule.
How fast are payouts?
Stellar 1-Step pays every 5 business days, 2-Step and Lite pay at 21 days then every 14, and Instant pays on demand once you are up 5%. The minimum is $20 with no cap. FundedNext reports 99.99% of rewards processed within 24 hours (4.74-hour median) and adds $1,000 if it misses that window — except on bank transfers.
Can I trade news, hold over the weekend, or run an EA?
News trading is allowed, but on funded and Instant accounts profits earned in the 5-minute window either side of a high-impact release count at 40% while losses count in full. Overnight and weekend holding are allowed at every stage. EAs are allowed on MT4/MT5 only and require a paid add-on — Match-Trader and cTrader cannot automate — and HFT and tick scalping are banned outright.
What platform will I trade on?
MT4, MT5, cTrader or Match-Trader; TradingView is analysis-only for now. US traders must use Match-Trader (free for them) because MetaQuotes and Spotware restrict US access, while global traders pay a one-time $25 fee for cTrader or Match-Trader. Stellar Instant is MT4/MT5 only, and your platform locks once you place your first trade.
How large can the account get?
Challenge models scale 40% at a time through the Scale-Up plan up to a $4,000,000 ceiling; Stellar Instant scales to 10× and potentially $2,000,000. Total funded allocation is capped at $300,000 across accounts, or $600,000 with the Double Up add-on.
