The practical answer: My Funded Futures’ new Rapid EOD is the week’s most consequential product release because it brings end-of-day trailing drawdown to both the evaluation and simulated-funded stages while retaining daily payouts and a 90/10 split. The tradeoff is a four-day evaluation with 30% consistency, versus standard Rapid’s two-day minimum and 50% evaluation consistency. Rapid EOD is currently a limited-time 50K plan, so traders should compare the funded-stage drawdown behavior—not just the payout headline—before choosing between the two products. Bulenox payout gates, Apex plan-specific thresholds, and TradingView’s scheduled Price Alerts maintenance remain useful secondary updates.
The week at a glance
| Priority | Verified development | Reader action |
|---|---|---|
| Lead — new product | My Funded Futures launched the limited-time 50K Rapid EOD with EOD drawdown in evaluation and simulated funding, daily payouts, a 90/10 split, and no activation fee | Compare its four-day, 30%-consistency evaluation with standard Rapid’s faster evaluation and intraday simulated-funded drawdown |
| High — payout planning | Bulenox Master requests require at least 10 trading days, a $1,000 minimum, a size-based reserve, and 40% best-day consistency | Calculate every gate before treating day 10 as payout-ready |
| High — account scope | Apex EOD and Intraday Performance Accounts both use five qualifying days, but their daily-profit thresholds and payout ladders differ | Match the rule table to the exact account family |
| Monitor — platform | TradingView scheduled Price Alerts maintenance for August 8, 04:00–11:00 UTC while listing trading and other systems operational | Save the component and window; do not call it a broad trading outage |
| Monitor — regulator/exchange | The reviewed CME notice index and CFTC release list did not establish a direct new rule for the retail prop products in this roundup | Continue monitoring first-party notices; do not promote secondary speculation |
1. Bulenox payout access is a four-gate calculation
Bulenox’s public Master Account page says a payout request can be processed after at least 10 individual trading days. That is only the first gate.
The same page also requires:
- a minimum $1,000 request;
- a reserve that remains in the account after the request;
- a best day no greater than 40% of total profit at the time of the request; and
- compliance with the first-three-payout cap for the selected account size.
For a 50K Master Account, the published reserve is $2,600 and the maximum for each of the first three payouts is $1,500. Bulenox says payouts are processed once weekly on Wednesday. Missing the 40% calculation delays the payout rather than violating the account.
The practical sequence is therefore: complete 10 trading days, preserve the reserve, pass the 40% test, apply the current cap, and then account for weekly processing. The full Bulenox Master Account payout guide includes a worked 50K example.
2. Apex EOD and Intraday payout days are not interchangeable
Apex’s current EOD and Intraday Performance Account pages both publish five qualifying trading days, a 50% consistency requirement, a lifetime safety net, a $500 minimum request, and a maximum of six payouts per Performance Account.
The daily thresholds differ. A 50K EOD qualifying day requires at least $250 net profit; a 50K Intraday qualifying day requires at least $200. The maximum-payout ladders also diverge after the first request.
That difference matters because “five days” is incomplete advice without the account family and size. A trader should first identify whether the Performance Account is EOD or Intraday, then use that page’s minimum-day threshold, safety-net balance, and payout-cap table. The Apex EOD versus Intraday guide maps the broader drawdown and 50K payout differences.
3. My Funded Futures Rapid EOD puts the drawdown change where it matters
My Funded Futures has launched Rapid EOD, a limited-time 50K product built around the rule traders had been asking the firm to change: the simulated-funded drawdown now trails at the end of the day rather than following intraday equity highs.
That is the product’s real significance. Standard Rapid already uses EOD trailing drawdown during evaluation, but its simulated-funded stage switches to intraday trailing drawdown. Rapid EOD keeps the EOD method through simulated funding. The firm says the maximum-loss threshold moves upward only when the account closes at a new end-of-day high; it does not move with unrealized intraday gains. Once the threshold reaches +$100, it locks there permanently.
EOD does not make intraday losses invisible. My Funded Futures’ current maximum-loss guidance says open-equity losses still count when determining whether the account has fallen below the active threshold. The benefit is that an unrealized intraday gain does not ratchet the floor upward before the session closes—not that a trader may dip through the existing floor during the day.
Rapid EOD versus standard Rapid at 50K
| Rule | Rapid EOD | Standard Rapid | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Availability | Limited-time 50K plan | Ongoing 25K, 50K, 100K, and 150K lineup | Rapid EOD currently offers one size and may be withdrawn |
| Evaluation drawdown | $2,000 EOD trailing | $2,000 EOD trailing | No meaningful difference at evaluation |
| Sim-funded drawdown | $2,000 EOD trailing | $2,000 intraday trailing | Rapid EOD does not raise the floor from unrealized intraday highs |
| Minimum evaluation days | 4 | 2 | Rapid EOD cannot be completed as quickly |
| Evaluation consistency | 30% | 50% | Rapid EOD requires profits to be distributed more evenly |
| Sim-funded payouts | Daily | Daily | Payout cadence is not the differentiator |
| Profit split | 90/10 | 90/10 | Same published split |
| Activation fee | $0 | $0 | Neither plan adds a post-pass activation charge |
The four-day minimum and 30% evaluation consistency are the price of the better funded-stage drawdown. At exactly $3,000 in total evaluation profit, a 30% consistency ceiling means one day cannot account for more than $900. Traders who prefer a two-day pass may still prefer standard Rapid; traders whose strategy produces large unrealized swings before the close may find Rapid EOD’s funded-stage rule materially easier to manage.
The rest of the 50K evaluation is straightforward: a $3,000 profit target, $2,000 maximum loss, no daily loss limit, 3 minis or 30 micros, Tier 1 news trading allowed, and a seven-day inactivity rule. My Funded Futures says there is no activation fee and currently presents Rapid EOD as a one-time purchase rather than a recurring subscription.
The simulated-funded stage keeps the $2,000 EOD trailing maximum loss, no daily loss limit, and a 3-mini/30-micro ceiling. Tier 1 news trading is not allowed, the inactivity rule remains seven days, and the firm caps Rapid EOD at three funded accounts.
Daily payouts do not mean immediate withdrawals from the starting line. The first request requires a $2,100 realized-profit buffer. After that buffer clears, each later payout unlocks after at least $500 in net profit since the prior payout. The minimum request is $500, the split is 90/10, and the Help Center states there is no per-cycle payout cap.
The practical choice is therefore not “daily payouts versus EOD drawdown.” Both Rapid products advertise daily payouts. The decision is whether Rapid EOD’s end-of-day funded threshold is worth accepting a four-day, 30%-consistency evaluation and a single available account size. Read the exact Rapid EOD product page and Rapid EOD 50K Help Center guide, then compare the current checkout total before purchasing. Our My Funded Futures review provides the broader firm context.
4. Scheduled alerts maintenance is not a trading outage
TradingView’s status page listed all systems operational at the August 7 check and scheduled maintenance for the Price Alerts service from August 8 at 04:00 UTC through 11:00 UTC. The named affected component is Alerts.
That distinction changes what traders should save. If an alert does not fire during the published window, capture the alerts-component notice and exact timestamp. If an order-routing or chart problem occurs, capture the separate affected component, order IDs, account, screenshots, and status result. Do not broaden a planned Price Alerts interruption into an unsupported claim that TradingView trading was down.
The platform outage evidence guide provides a reusable incident record and Topstep’s current support-evidence checklist.
What ComparePropFirms published August 3–7
The August 3–7 editorial record added three practical guides before this roundup:
- Bulenox Master Account payout rules — days, reserve, consistency, caps, and Wednesday processing.
- Apex EOD versus Intraday drawdown — threshold timing, evaluation differences, and plan-specific payout gates.
- Prop-firm platform outage evidence guide — stop-trading, exposure, order-ID, timestamp, screenshot, and support-record steps.
The site also launched the searchable Guide Archive so dated roundups and durable explainers remain discoverable without overloading the News Hub preview rails.
Worked example: one trading day, two different drawdown floors
The funded-stage difference is easiest to see with actual numbers. Assume both 50K accounts begin with $0 in accumulated profit and a $2,000 maximum-loss threshold, so the initial floor is -$2,000. During the session, the trader reaches +$1,500 in open equity but gives back $1,000 before closing the day at +$500.
| Moment | Account equity | Rapid EOD floor | Standard Rapid floor | Available cushion at that moment |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session opens | $0 | -$2,000 | -$2,000 | $2,000 on both |
| Open equity reaches +$1,500 | +$1,500 | Still -$2,000 | Rises to -$500 | Rapid EOD: $3,500; standard Rapid: $2,000 |
| Day closes at +$500 | +$500 | Rises to -$1,500 after the close | Remains -$500 | Rapid EOD: $2,000; standard Rapid: $1,000 |
Rapid EOD ignores the unrealized +$1,500 high when moving the threshold. It uses the +$500 end-of-day balance, so the next session begins with a -$1,500 floor and the full $2,000 distance between balance and threshold.
Standard Rapid’s intraday threshold follows the +$1,500 high to -$500 and does not move back down when the trade retraces. Although both accounts finish the day with the same +$500, standard Rapid carries only $1,000 of room into the next session in this example. Rapid EOD preserves an extra $1,000 because the intraday peak never reset its floor.
That does not make Rapid EOD immune to an intraday failure. Open equity is still measured against the active -$2,000 floor during the session; falling below it can breach the account. “EOD” describes when profitable closes move the threshold upward, not when losses are checked. This example also occurs before either threshold reaches its published +$100 lock.
The practical fit is clear: Rapid EOD gives more room to strategies that regularly show meaningful unrealized gains and then retrace before the close. Standard Rapid still offers the faster evaluation—two minimum days and 50% consistency instead of four days and 30%—so traders who close gains quickly and value speed may prefer it. The best choice depends on whether evaluation speed or funded-stage drawdown behavior creates the larger constraint in your actual trade log.
What to watch next week
- Whether Rapid EOD remains available as a limited-time 50K plan or expands to additional account sizes.
- Whether its price, four-day minimum, 30% evaluation consistency, $2,100 first-payout buffer, or funded-stage EOD threshold changes after launch.
- Whether My Funded Futures publishes additional examples clarifying the +$100 threshold lock or payout timing.
- Whether TradingView closes the August 8 Price Alerts maintenance window without extending the named component impact.
