FundedNext's FNL:003 Futures Instant is the period's most consequential prop-firm launch. The limited 50K product skips an evaluation, but its $149.99 entry price does not buy an open-ended funded path: it has a $2,100 payout buffer, a perpetual 20% consistency rule, a $1,200 reward cap, a five-reward lifetime, and no route to live funding. Those constraints make it a defined five-cycle simulated-reward product rather than a conventional evaluation replacement.
FundedNext also added 20 stock CFDs across its active CFD Challenge and FundedNext accounts. Funded Futures Family clarified the size-specific payout and drawdown mechanics for Prime accounts, and CME expanded its 100-Ounce Silver futures contract into weekend trading beginning September 11. These four verified changes materially affect product selection, payout planning, or available trading hours.
1. FundedNext opens a capped 50K instant-futures product
FundedNext announced FNL:003 Futures Instant on September 8. It is a $50,000 simulated-funded account priced at $149.99 one time, with no evaluation, no profit target, and no activation fee. FundedNext capped the release at 2,000 accounts and permits up to three purchases per person. FNL:003 purchases do not count against the firm's separate five-account standard futures allocation.
The instant start removes the evaluation stage, but it concentrates the meaningful gates in the reward cycle. The account uses a $1,000 Daily Loss Limit as a soft breach: positions close and trading stops for the session, but the account does not fail solely because that boundary was reached. The $2,000 Maximum Loss Limit is different. It trails from end-of-day balance highs and is an account-ending boundary.
| FNL:003 rule | Published term | Practical effect |
|---|---|---|
| Account / price | 50K / $149.99 one time | One size; no evaluation or activation fee |
| Daily Loss Limit | $1,000 soft breach | Positions close and access pauses for the day |
| Maximum Loss Limit | $2,000 EOD trailing | Permanent breach if the active floor is crossed |
| Lock point | $50,100 floor after a $52,100 EOD balance | The trail stops $100 above starting balance |
| Reward buffer | $2,100 | Balance must remain at or above $52,100 after a request |
| Consistency | 20% perpetual | All-time best day can raise every later cycle's profit requirement |
| Reward size | $800 minimum / $1,200 maximum | Narrow request band with 90% paid to the trader |
| Reward lifetime | Five approved rewards | Account closes after reward number five |
| Position limit | 3 minis or 30 micros | Applies to the single 50K size |
| Destination | Simulated rewards only | No live-account transition |
The drawdown path deserves special attention. The initial loss floor is $48,000. After each session, the threshold can move up with a higher end-of-day balance. Once an end-of-day balance reaches $52,100, the loss floor locks at $50,100. A trader should not confuse that $50,100 locked floor with the payout buffer: FundedNext separately requires the post-request balance to remain at or above $52,100.
That creates a usable cushion of $2,000 after the trail locks, but only profit above $52,100 is withdrawable. A request cannot be smaller than $800 or larger than $1,200, and the trader receives 90% of the approved amount. At the $800 minimum, the gross account profit must therefore be at least $2,900 before the first request: $2,100 remains in the account and $800 is requested. The net payment would be $720 at the published 90% split.
The 20% rule follows the trader across reward cycles
FNL:003 uses perpetual consistency. The largest profitable day cannot exceed 20% of the total profit required for the current reward. Cycle profit resets after a reward, but the account's all-time best day does not. In practice, the best day is multiplied by five to establish the minimum cycle-profit denominator.
| All-time best day | Minimum cycle profit under 20% | Buffer plus cycle profit before first request* |
|---|---|---|
| $400 | $2,000 | $4,100 above starting balance |
| $580 | $2,900 | $5,000 above starting balance |
| $800 | $4,000 | $6,100 above starting balance |
\*The final balance needed depends on prior rewards and the current buffer state. The table isolates the published consistency math and the initial $2,100 buffer; it is not a promise of approval.
A best day of $580 is exactly 20% of the $2,900 minimum profit needed to preserve the buffer and request $800. A larger best day increases the required cycle profit even though the maximum request remains $1,200. This is the central tradeoff: skipping an evaluation saves time, while a large early win can lengthen every later reward cycle.
The product allows news trading and supports Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and TradingView. The position ceiling is three minis or 30 micros. Identity verification is required before the first withdrawal rather than before trading. FundedNext says the fifth approved Performance Reward ends the account, and it expressly provides no live transition.
Compared with FundedNext's standard challenge products, FNL:003 eliminates the pass stage and recurring evaluation path. In exchange, it adds a fixed product lifetime and a consistency calculation that keeps the all-time best day. A trader choosing between them should compare the complete path—not only the $149.99 price—against evaluation targets, funded-stage loss rules, payout cadence, potential account longevity, and the desired chance of a live transition.
What to verify before acting: whether inventory remains, the one-time checkout total, three-purchase and 2,000-account caps, platform connection, contract limits, the live Daily Loss and Maximum Loss levels, the $52,100 buffer, the all-time best-day value, minimum and maximum request, 90% split, KYC timing, five-reward closure, and the absence of live transition.
2. FundedNext adds 20 stock CFDs to active CFD accounts
FundedNext's Help Center says 20 stock CFDs became available on September 8 across all active CFD Challenge and FundedNext accounts. The addition covers 14 U.S. and six European stocks in seven sectors. It is not a separate stock challenge, and it does not apply to Labs accounts, free trials, or competitions.
Existing eligible CFD accounts receive the instruments without an upgrade. The current account's daily-loss, maximum-loss, consistency, payout, and stage rules remain in force; adding a stock symbol does not replace the governing model terms.
| Scope | Published detail | What the trader should check |
|---|---|---|
| Instrument set | 20 stock CFDs; 14 U.S., 6 European | Exact symbol and market session |
| Sectors | Seven, including technology, consumer, health, energy, and industrial exposure | Corporate-event and gap risk |
| Leverage | 1:2 | Margin impact at intended size |
| Contract size | 1 | Platform quantity conventions |
| Pip value | $0.10 | P&L display and stop distance |
| Commission | 0.004% per lot | Round-trip cost on the chosen symbol |
| Platforms | MT4, MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader | U.S. clients use Match-Trader only |
The operating details vary by platform. FundedNext states that triple swap is charged Friday on MetaTrader and cTrader but Wednesday on Match-Trader. U.S. clients are limited to Match-Trader. Traders should also verify market holidays, earnings or corporate actions, the symbol's trading hours, spread behavior around the underlying cash open, and whether holding through a closure is compatible with their account model.
The closest existing comparison is the broader stock-prop category, but this is still a CFD expansion inside FundedNext's established account models—not direct ownership of shares and not an exchange-traded stock account. The stock prop-firm comparison explains why instrument structure, platform, leverage, and overnight treatment can matter as much as the company names available.
What to verify before acting: account eligibility, platform and region, exact 20-symbol list, session hours, 1:2 leverage, $0.10 pip value, 0.004% commission, swap day, spread, corporate-event handling, and the existing model's loss and payout rules.
3. Funded Futures Family clarifies Prime payout and drawdown math
Funded Futures Family's Prime Help Center pages were updated during the September 7–11 reporting window. The source does not publish an exact effective timestamp, so this recap treats the current text as a rules clarification verified September 11 rather than inferring when every account adopted it.
Prime evaluation accounts have no consistency rule and no Daily Loss Limit, making a one-day pass possible. After passing, the trader has seven days to activate the funded Prime account or the evaluation closes. Funded Futures Family lists no activation fee.
The funded stage adds a 40% consistency rule per payout cycle. A qualifying trading day must make at least $200, and a payout request needs at least three qualifying days after the previous payout. The cycle-specific best day must remain at or below 40% of cycle profit; unlike FNL:003, the Prime consistency calculation resets after a payout.
| Prime size | Cycle-profit minimum | Protected buffer balance | First payout cap | Later payout cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $300 | $26,100 | $1,000 | $1,500 |
| 50K | $500 | $52,100 | $2,000 | $2,500 |
| 100K | $750 | $103,100 | $3,000 | $3,500 |
| 150K | $1,000 | $154,600 | $3,500 | $4,000 |
The funded account's end-of-day trailing drawdown is $1,000, $2,000, $3,000, or $4,500 by size. The threshold stops trailing at the starting balance. A payout does not reset the threshold, so withdrawing profit reduces the remaining space between account balance and the loss floor. The protected buffer is the starting balance plus the drawdown amount plus $100; it cannot be withdrawn while the account continues.
Prime pays a 90/10 split. A trader should calculate four separate constraints before expecting a request: at least three $200-or-better days, the size-specific cycle-profit minimum, 40% consistency, and the amount available above the protected buffer. The published payout cap is only the final ceiling, not the amount automatically available.
What to verify before acting: whether the current Help Center terms govern the account cohort, evaluation target and loss limit for the selected size, seven-day activation window, funded drawdown threshold, three qualifying days, $200 day threshold, cycle minimum, 40% calculation, protected buffer, first-versus-later cap, 90% split, and balance remaining after withdrawal.
4. CME expands 100-Ounce Silver futures into weekend trading
CME's official electronic-trading notice says the 100-Ounce Silver futures security group moves to a 24/7 schedule effective Friday, September 11. On the first production date, a special maintenance window runs from 4:00 to 4:30 PM Central Time before trading opens at 4:30 PM CT. Subsequent Friday sessions are scheduled to reopen at 4:02 PM CT, subject to at least two hours of weekly maintenance.
Trades executed from Friday through Sunday receive the following business day's trade date. Clearing, settlement, and regulatory reporting occur on the next business day. The notice also moves the product from market-data channel 360 to 329 and market segment 78 to 74; block trades are no longer supported.
This exchange change does not establish that any prop firm supports the product, its new symbol mapping, or weekend access. Firm-level availability, permitted products, platform entitlements, session boundaries, and daily-loss reset logic must be verified separately. The trading-day guide explains why the exchange's trade date can differ from the trader's calendar date.
What to verify before acting: exact contract and symbol, prop-firm approval, platform channel readiness, Friday maintenance, weekend order acceptance, liquidity and spread, following-business-day trade date, risk-limit reset time, and the prohibition on block trades.

- Reviewed regulatory surfaces showed no separate prop-firm enforcement action that materially changed the covered products during the reporting window.
What to watch September 12–18
- Whether FundedNext sells through or changes the 2,000-account FNL:003 cap.
- Whether FundedNext publishes symbol-level stock-CFD hours or revises platform availability.
- Whether Funded Futures Family supplies an exact effective date or cohort rule for the Prime Help Center text.
- Whether prop firms add the 100-Ounce Silver contract and support its weekend session.
