The practical answer: Tradeify's Forge 300K Select v2 cut the evaluation price from $449 to $349, raised the end-of-day maximum loss limit from $6,000 to $8,000, and added a $4,000 evaluation daily loss limit. Tradeify says v2 applies to accounts bought on or after August 27, 2026; existing v1 accounts keep their original $449, $6,000 EOD maximum-loss, no-evaluation-DLL rules. The live Forge page now labels the v2 drop sold out, so it is not a current purchase option as verified August 28.
V2 also changes both funded paths. Flex moves from a $6,000 EOD maximum loss with no DLL to an $8,000 EOD maximum loss plus a $4,000 DLL. Daily moves from a $5,000 EOD maximum loss, $2,500 DLL, $5,100 buffer, and $3,500 payout cap to $6,000, $3,000, $6,100, and $4,000 respectively. V2 300K funded accounts sit on top of Tradeify's standard five-account allowance, up to three additional 300K accounts and eight simulated-funded accounts total; v1 300K accounts count inside the five.
Forge 300K v1 versus v2
| Rule | v1 legacy accounts | v2 accounts purchased Aug. 27 or later |
|---|---|---|
| Evaluation price | $449 | $349 |
| Profit target | $14,000 | $14,000 |
| Evaluation EOD maximum loss | $6,000 | $8,000 |
| Evaluation daily loss limit | None | $4,000 |
| Evaluation consistency | 40% | 40% |
| Flex EOD maximum loss | $6,000 | $8,000 |
| Flex daily loss limit | None | $4,000 |
| Flex payout cap | $10,000 | $10,000 |
| Daily EOD maximum loss | $5,000 | $6,000 |
| Daily loss limit | $2,500 | $3,000 |
| Daily buffer | $5,100 | $6,100 |
| Daily payout cap | $3,500 | $4,000 |
| 300K funded allocation | Counts within standard five | Up to three on top of standard five; eight total possible |
The $14,000 target, 40% evaluation consistency, three-day minimum, 16-mini / 160-micro maximum, no-reset rule, pre-purchase KYC, and permanent Daily-or-Flex choice remain. This is a rule comparison, not a forecast that a trader will pass, qualify for a payout, or receive the maximum. The nominal 300K label is an account-rule size; Tradeify describes the funded level as simulated unless the trader is separately selected for Elite Live.
V2 is sold out
The live Forge page displays SOLD OUT for Select 300K v2 and replaces purchase access with drop-alert signup prompts. Tradeify still describes each Forge release as a finite drop with no fixed calendar deadline. The current help article calls v2 the current version and says it was on sale, but the sales page is the controlling source for whether a new account can actually be bought now.
Existing buyers should use the version shown in their Tradeify dashboard. Tradeify says parameters are locked by purchase date: v2 applies on or after August 27, while earlier purchases remain v1 for the life of the account. A sold-out label stops new purchases; it does not convert a v1 account to v2 or cancel an already purchased account.
If inventory reopens, verify all of these before paying:
- Open the current Tradeify Forge page.
- Confirm that a purchase button—not only a drop-alert form—is available.
- Confirm whether the dashboard identifies the purchase as v2 or a later version.
- Confirm the displayed price, EOD maximum loss, DLL, payout-path values, and account allowance.
- Complete the required KYC and save the accepted terms and purchase confirmation.
Neither the Forge page nor the versioned help article states that the general Tradeify code CPF discounts Forge. Treat code eligibility as unverified unless a future checkout explicitly accepts it.
Evaluation: more EOD room, but a new daily limit
V2 keeps the $14,000 target, 40% consistency, and 16-mini / 160-micro maximum, while raising the EOD maximum loss from $6,000 to $8,000. That extra $2,000 of lifetime room comes with a new $4,000 daily loss limit. V1 had no evaluation DLL.
The 40% consistency rule prevents a one-day pass. No single profitable day may represent more than 40% of the total profit used to qualify. Tradeify's FAQ therefore states a minimum of three trading days even if the account reaches the $14,000 target sooner.
For example, a $14,000 qualifying total cannot be built from one $7,000 day plus smaller days because $7,000 is 50% of the total. A $5,600 largest day is exactly 40% of $14,000. Actual qualification still depends on the dashboard calculation, closed-trade accounting, and every other current rule.
The two loss controls answer different questions. The $4,000 v2 DLL limits one session, while the $8,000 EOD maximum-loss boundary governs the account. End-of-day describes when the threshold is recalculated, not a promise that it is unenforced intraday. Using the full 16-contract maximum can move P&L rapidly, so position size should come from the trader's stop and risk plan rather than the maximum allowed size.
Daily funded path: frequent eligibility with a protected buffer
After passing v2, a trader choosing Daily receives no funded consistency rule but accepts a $3,000 daily loss limit and a $6,000 EOD maximum loss. The page shows a $4,000 maximum daily payout and a $6,100 protected buffer. Legacy v1 values remain $2,500, $5,000, $3,500, and $5,100 respectively.
For v2, the buffer corresponds to a $306,100 balance floor. Profit above that level can be eligible, subject to the $4,000 cap and the 50% new-profit rule. Existing v1 accounts use the $305,100 floor and their original cap.
Daily also starts smaller than the evaluation maximum. The funded account begins at 3 minis / 30 micros and scales by end-of-day profit:
| End-of-day profit | Daily funded contract limit |
|---|---|
| $0–$1,500 | 3 minis / 30 micros |
| $1,500–$3,000 | 4 minis / 40 micros |
| $3,000–$5,000 | 6 minis / 60 micros |
| $5,000–$7,000 | 10 minis / 100 micros |
| $7,000+ | 16 minis / 160 micros |
Flex funded path: five-day gate and a larger cap
V2 Flex uses an $8,000 EOD maximum loss and a $4,000 daily loss limit. V1 Flex keeps its original $6,000 EOD maximum loss and no DLL. Both versions show the five-winning-day path, a $10,000 payout cap, no funded consistency rule, and the same funded scaling ladder from 3 minis / 30 micros to 16 minis / 160 micros.
That combination offers more intraday room and a materially larger displayed request cap than Daily, but it also requires the trader to wait for the Flex timing gate. The article's full Select Daily-versus-Flex guide explains the standard-size payout mechanics and why eligibility, approval, and processing are separate events. The 300K-specific values on Forge should control when they differ from a standard-size table.
The choice is permanent for the funded account. A trader who later wants the other path must pass a separate 300K evaluation and choose the alternative, assuming inventory remains available and account limits permit another activation.
KYC, resets, and account limits change the buying decision
Forge moves identity verification earlier. Standard Select sizes can complete verification after passing and before funded activation, but the 300K purchase cannot finalize until KYC is approved.
The 300K evaluation has no reset. If it fails, continuing requires another purchase while a drop is available. That is a material cost difference from smaller Select evaluations, which Tradeify says can use resets under their separate limits.
Tradeify publishes four interacting capacity rules for this drop:
- A 300K purchase does not consume the normal allowance of 15 Select evaluation purchases in a rolling 30-day period.
- A v1 300K funded account counts within the standard five simulated-funded accounts.
- V2 allows up to three 300K funded accounts on top of those five, for up to eight simulated-funded accounts total.
- Both versions retain the three-account maximum for the 300K size.
Do not apply the v2 allocation retroactively to v1. The dashboard version determines whether the 300K account sits inside or on top of the standard five-account allowance. The cross-firm account-limits guide explains why purchase, pass, and activation capacity must be tracked separately.
Platforms and connection choices
Forge's platform selector groups the purchase routes as Tradovate / NinjaTrader, WealthCharts, and Rithmic / Tradesea. The FAQ identifies Tradovate, Rithmic, and WealthCharts as the primary supported platforms and says TradingView is supported through a Tradovate connection.
Choose the connection route before buying. Platform labels do not make every third-party feature available automatically, and a later connection change may require support. Confirm the intended charting, order-entry, data, and copier workflow against the exact Forge checkout selection.
Who the Forge 300K drop may fit
If a future v2 restock uses the same terms, it may fit a trader who:
- already understands Select's 40% evaluation consistency math;
- wants a larger EOD loss boundary and position ceiling than standard sizes;
- can complete KYC before purchase;
- accepts that failure requires a new purchase rather than a reset;
- can operate within the $4,000 evaluation/Flex DLL and $3,000 Daily DLL;
- understands that v2's three-account allowance sits on top of the standard five; and
- can make a permanent Daily-versus-Flex choice after passing.
It is not available to a new buyer while the Forge page remains sold out. If restocked unchanged, it is a poor fit when the account-size label or lower price is the main attraction, the strategy has not been tested against both the $8,000 EOD boundary and $4,000 evaluation DLL, or reset availability is important.
For the broader product decision, compare Tradeify Growth, Select, and Lightning. For the firm-level context, use the current Tradeify review. For consistency math, see how prop-firm consistency rules work.
Bottom line
Tradeify materially changed the Forge 300K with v2: $349 instead of $449, an $8,000 rather than $6,000 evaluation EOD maximum loss, and a new $4,000 evaluation DLL. It also widened the funded limits and changed how v2 accounts fit alongside the standard funded allowance. Existing v1 accounts keep their original rules.
The v2 drop is sold out as verified August 28. Do not treat the help center's version description as proof of inventory; wait for the live Forge page to restore a purchase path, then verify whether the same terms still apply.
