DayTraders.com Cuts Activation Fees to $5 and Adds Bulk Pricing

A flat $5 post-pass activation fee and verified volume tiers materially lower the total cost of Trail, Static, and EOD evaluations.

The practical answer: DayTraders.com now lists a flat $5 activation fee after an evaluation account is passed, and its checkout discounts orders of up to 15 evaluations. Single-account evaluation prices now start at $40 for Static, $55 for Trail, and $80 for EOD. At the 15-account tier, those entry prices fall to $25, $35, and $60 per account respectively.

That is a material value improvement. It removes the three-digit activation cost previously shown on ComparePropFirms and in an older DayTraders help article, while the new volume schedule cuts the evaluation price by as much as 40% at the 15-account endpoint. Because the firm's rules and reputation were already competitive and total cost was its clearest drawback, ComparePropFirms moved DayTraders from #11 to #7 on August 30, 2026.

Use our DayTraders link and code CPF (which replaced our previous code on August 31, 2026). We verified on August 31 that the link carries the code through to daytraders.com. Expect 0% additional coupon discount because the new lower list and bulk prices are already applied. The checkout total—not an old percentage claim—is controlling.

The “each at 15” figure is the effective per-account price when 15 identical evaluations are placed in one order. DayTraders' checkout uses intermediate tiers too; for example, the verified 50K Trail schedule was $70 for one, $55 each for two through nine, $50 each for 10 through 14, and $45 each for 15.

The $5 activation fee is separate and is charged only if an evaluation is passed and the resulting account is activated. It is not added to every evaluation at purchase. If all 15 accounts in a bulk order were eventually passed and activated, the combined activation cost would be $75.

What the $5 activation fee changes

The activation fee used to be DayTraders' biggest cost objection. ComparePropFirms' prior DayTraders review showed $130 on evaluation accounts, while an older official help article still says $99. DayTraders' live homepage, current product configurator, checkout data, and the partner notice supplied to CPF now show $5 across Trail, Static, and EOD evaluations.

For a single 50K Trail account, the published cost is now $70 for the evaluation plus $5 only after a pass, or $75 before tax if the account is activated. For 15 identical 50K Trail evaluations, the checkout total is $675. If every one of those accounts later passes and is activated, the combined evaluation-plus-activation amount would be $750.

This improves cost certainty, but it does not change the probability of passing, the loss limits, or the payout conditions. Activation is a post-pass charge, not a promise of earnings or a substitute for reading the account rules. Our 50K evaluation cost guide explains why every attempt, reset, renewal, and post-pass charge belongs in the comparison.

How DayTraders bulk pricing works

DayTraders lets a trader choose up to 15 identical evaluation accounts in one checkout. The per-account evaluation price drops at published quantity tiers. The checkout calculates and displays the order subtotal, bulk discount, and final total before payment.

Bulk pricing matters only when the trader genuinely planned to operate multiple accounts. Buying 15 simply to reach the lowest unit price can increase the total dollars at risk, administrative load, and chance of repeating one mistake across many accounts. Compare the order total—not just the lowest per-account figure—and make sure the firm's current maximum-account and copy-trading rules fit the intended setup. See our prop-firm account-limit guide before scaling a multi-account workflow.

The new schedule is most aggressive on 50K Static, where 15 accounts cost $30 each instead of $50, a 40% endpoint reduction. The largest dollar reduction is on 300K EOD: $975 below buying 15 at the single-account price, although the order still costs $5,025 before any post-pass activation fees.

Trail vs Static vs EOD: which account fits?

Trail Evaluation uses an intraday trailing loss threshold. The threshold can follow account performance during the session, so open-profit giveback can matter. Trail is the lowest-priced route for traders who want more drawdown room than Static and are comfortable managing an intraday trail.

Static Evaluation keeps the maximum-loss threshold fixed. It does not trail upward as profits grow. The tradeoff is a smaller risk cushion and a higher target relative to the drawdown, but it has the lowest current evaluation prices and the simplest loss-line behavior.

EOD Evaluation updates the trailing threshold from end-of-day results rather than continuously intraday. It generally costs more, but the threshold does not advance during the session. DayTraders also publishes a daily loss control on EOD accounts.

The cheapest account is not automatically the best account. Choose the drawdown behavior first, then the size and quantity. A lower fee cannot compensate for a risk model that conflicts with the way you trade. Our drawdown guide provides worked examples of intraday, end-of-day, and static thresholds.

How to sign up with our code CPF

  1. Open DayTraders through the CPF tracking link.
  2. Choose Trail, Static, or EOD and select the account size.
  3. Set the quantity from one to 15 and compare the complete order total.
  4. Confirm CPF is present in the coupon field. The code is for referral tracking — expect 0% additional coupon savings, because the value comes from the lower published price and quantity tiers.
  5. Save the checkout total and the rules accepted at purchase before paying.

Do not substitute the public DT code or an old claimed percentage without comparing the final quote. The CPF code preserves our attribution, but in our August 30, 2026 test it did not reduce the new price further.

Why DayTraders moves to #7 in our rankings

DayTraders already had a solid reputation, a broad choice of drawdown structures, 100% published profit split on its Pro path, and clear program-specific rules. Its prior activation fee made the all-in cost less competitive, particularly for a trader passing several accounts.

The flat $5 charge largely removes that weakness. The new base prices also make a single evaluation competitive, while bulk tiers reward traders who actually need several accounts. On price and account-choice breadth, DayTraders now presents a much stronger package than our previous review reflected.

Price is only one ranking input. CPF also weighs rule clarity, drawdown quality, payout conditions, platform access, support, operating history, and the accuracy of public documentation. After weighing those factors with the verified cost improvement, we moved DayTraders from #11 to #7 in our futures prop-firm rankings on August 30. FundedNext Futures, Take Profit Trader, TradeDay, and My Funded Futures each shift down one position; their underlying records were not downgraded. The stale $99 activation article in DayTraders' help center remains a documentation negative and is disclosed below.

Checkout conflict to know before buying

DayTraders' current transaction surfaces are consistent: the homepage says a flat $5 activation fee, the product data lists $5 on Trail, Static, and EOD, and all 12 evaluation checkout paths expose the new single and 15-account totals. The firm-supplied pricing notice matches those figures.

However, the help-center article titled “Pro Account Activation and Fees” still says $99. That page is stale as of our August 30 check. Because public documentation can change, confirm the $5 line and final order total at checkout, then keep a screenshot or receipt. This article covers evaluation pricing only; Straight to Funded and Straight to Live have different product and stage terms.

Bottom line

DayTraders' new pricing is a genuine upgrade: $5 to activate a passed evaluation account, lower single-account prices, and discounted orders up to 15 evaluations. The strongest endpoint discount is 40% on 50K Static, and every published evaluation size becomes cheaper per account at the 15-account tier.

That improvement is large enough to move DayTraders from #11 to #7 in CPF's August 30 rankings update. The change reflects better all-in value, not a guarantee that one account model will suit every trader.

Use our link and code CPF, but expect the current coupon result to show 0% additional savings. The code tracks the referral; the live price and bulk schedule provide the savings. Choose the drawdown model before the quantity, verify the checkout total, and do not buy more accounts solely to chase the lowest unit price.
